I bought the attached a few months back.
Somewhere between buying, and having it delivered, it received a nasty chip in the crystal! The vendors attitude was basically - tough it's an old watch.

Are genuine replacement crystals still available, if only to keep as a spare?

If I gently loosen the 4 compression screws in the back, can I gain access to the movement to check its number and calibre.

    Thanks
    Vince

Cheers, I signed up with cousins.co.uk

And used the part number to find the crystal. £45!! I'll have to wait until next year.

How do I get the back off? Just loosen the 4 screws a bit at a time and see what happens?

    Thanks
