Constellation 2782 watch case tube help

Hello OF,

I need to change the case tube on my constellation with a 2782 case. It is currently at my watchmaker and he is unable to order the case tube for that specific case. He has informed me that the part is 090ST1279. I have tried searching online and on ebay but I couldn't find any parts available.

I'm wondering if anyone has any leads on where to find this part or if there are any other suitable replacements for this case tube?

That is the correct tube, so if your watchmaker doesn't have an Omega parts account (suspect they do not or they would just order one) all you can do is keep looking. Worst case scenario is that they remove the old tube, take measurements, and either find one that works or make one. It's not a complex part on a watch like this, so it wouldn't take long to whip one up on a lathe, assuming your watchmaker has a lathe and knows how to use it.

The other alternative would be to find a watchmaker with a parts account.
