hi guys I've recently begun to admire this watch and the vintage collection of it. Before I buy, I was wondering what the forums thoughts were on it and if you would either advise me to buy or could recommend me to another on eBay or the likes? I only want the all steel versions. Refinished dial (note the font and the points not flat top A), case back polishing looks off, case well polished and crown is wrong Give it a miss IMHO
There are at least two things here that would be a deal breaker for me, plus one minor issue that wouldn't concern me that much. Can you see what they are? EDIT: And then Tom came along
Thanks Tom. Pueblo, I would only be able to gues Tom's points. Only because I'm still learning the finer details of this model. I'd be interested to know the deal breakers from your POV though. Could anyone give me a good example of an all steel model? And what should I be expecting to pay roughly. Thanks! Edit: just saw your note!

For a steel Constellation - not a pie-pan - in good order, I'd say that £600-700 is enough to land a good one. Have a look on the FS forum here to get a feel for the price level.
