This is listed at $500 OBO - No movement shot (boo).
I see the cal. 564's selling for $300-$600
Any red flags - and is it worth it? What would you offer?
I like the funky C-shapes. Gives it a lot of character.

There is some very troubling corrosion between the lugs in the case back shot. I don't think the black areas are just dirt.

I would really want a shot of the movement.

 

@X350 XJR Thanks so much as always. Always nervous to ask for inside case back pictures because these guys don't know what they are doing often. I'll ask.

 

The minute and hour hands do not look right - I wonder if they were painted black

 

I would attribute that to lighting. The camera took pictures that are way overexposed. But something to think about!

What is the black smudge on the wood in the first picture? Kinda the same color as the hands?

 

They are painted black and are correct for this dial.
