Landed this one today but can't find a comparable dial. Anyone a clue?

Looks pretty damned good to me.
I’ve seen these dials with faceted Arabic numerals on Connies for auction in the UK.
A variation on the fully Arabic dials.
Can’t remember if I’ve seen one (specifically) on an .004 but fairly sure I’ve seen them on a dogleg.
Nice case and dial - congratulations.

Thanks. Don't doubt the dial itself btw but was not sure whether it was delivered in this watch :)

My opinion may not hold as much weight as more experienced and respected members here but just to reassure you, I have seen this exact configuration before and it appeared original then and now.

Ok thanks! Much appreciated. Weird thing is that the medaillon is silver and not gold

Quite right, a gold cap watch would have a gold medallion, a SS watch (regardless of gold dial furniture ) will have a SS medallion.
    Edited to correct silly typo.

Not quite sure what you mean here.

I agree that on these 2nd generation Constellations (1959-69), gold capped watches had gold medallions. However, some early steel cases also had gold medallions.

    Just trying to clarify.

    Quite right too.
My SS 14381 has a gold medallion.
I was specifically referring to the OP’s watch.

For this specific case reference (168.004), I agree. The medallion should be steel.
