Hi,

i found this watch online and was wondering what you guys think about it.
Im missing the „officialy certified“ on the dial.
Also the „Constellation“ font looks not right for me at the „te“ connection.
What do you guys think?

As far as I know there are no two liner 168.004's. So redial.

I wouldn’t be writing this off just yet without better pics. There are many exceptions to the rule with Omega.

The font issue you’re seeing could be down to crystal distortion. You need sharper in focus pics.
My gut feeling is the dial is legit. Whether it been transplanted from another model i.e. 14902 is another question.

au contraire mon brave.

I was going to reply saying that I knew I'd read something about missing text .004s somewhere - although I had entirely forgotten that I'd written it.....😬
(and you 'liked' it 😉)

You will notice it is a similar sunburst dial too.

168.004s were produced very early in the reference number change, as they actually evolved from the uncommon (dare I say rare) 14918 reference.

As @hoipolloi confirms, a 14393 or dogleg dial is too small for a 168.004
(something we just discussed @MtV )

However, @troz2022, it may be crystal distortion but you're right to point out the step in the text between the 't' & 'e', it doesn't look right at all.

It would be helpful if you could provide further information - such as case back reference and movt serial number.
-and better pics of the dial of course.
