Has anyone seen a pink gold 14393/4 SC 6 with this dial type before?
For that reference I've been unable to find this dial, which makes me wonder if it isn't correct. Any knowledge appreciated.
Thanks

Looks ok to me. Even the crown might be ok if it's an American issue with OXG movement marking.

Solid pink gold 14393 refs are scarce, period. Not surprised that identical examples are hard to find.

What's off is the auction house's absurd 500€ estimate for it. 😁

An auction house not inflating the price- that's a nice one for a change

Thanks for the really helpful info. I bought it. Time will tell if that was a good decision.

I cross my fingers for you that the dial turns out to be nice. Hard to tell with the pictures. If the dial is in fact in great shape then you got a good deal 😀 Keep us posted!

Thanks! Me too! I've been a pink gold connie admirer for a decade.

Congrats on winning the sale! May I ask what auction site this was on?

Could you expand on this? 😀

Observation over the years lends American 14393 refs with mostly scalloped, and sometimes serrated, crowns. Other markets normally had decagonal crowns as far as I can tell. A 14393 with a movement marked OXG might well have been originally issued with a serrated crown.

Best,

If the dial is in 18k gold, the reference should be 14394.

Thanks for your help. Please excuse me if I've misunderstood, but I thought the dual reference 14393/4 meant Omega could, at manufacture, essentially configure it as either a 14393 or 14394.

14393 is SS, gold cap or gold with non -precious dial
14394 is gold case with gold dial and is known as a ‘deluxe’ model.
Likewise 14381/14382 for the no date version.
