Hello vintage crew. Would any of you indulge me with some input on a Seamaster that I'm considering? This would be the first Omega of this era that I've put hands on, and thus am out of my element here.

Bracelet is not period correct to the watch and there is no known service records. It looks like a couple of the lume dots are partially missing (1, 5, 7, 8, possibly 10). The dial has a slight oxidized look, but the hands look really nice and the case appears sharp. Crown looks original too.

If I wanted a beads of rice that would be correct for this era is there a bracelet and endlinks I should look for?

They are asking $899 USD...I have no idea if this is right for the current market. Thoughts?

Agreed, the bracelet is later. But otherwise this looks ok to me. Mine for comparison on 1036 BOR bracelet .

Dial original with moderate spotting. Original text. Hands original. Looks like it was relumed with some larger blobs of lighter lume on some indices. Original lume was radium the smaller dark brown spots. Is Swiss Made visible can’t see on photos but probably angle. Should be cal 501.
Here’s mine for comparison without the spotting and original lume.
I think price high for average condition dial. I paid $600 for mine. I posted thread on this watch recently.

This was the one I sold for $450. The condition of the dial looks pretty similar, but you can judge relative condition and price for yourself. Probably it was a bit under-valued and sold very quickly. The bracelet on the OP watch adds value, obviously, correct or not.
