Considering an Omega Seamaster 30. Not sure if redone.

Hello, this is my first time on the Omega Forums.

I am considering buying an Omega Seamaster Automatic 30 locally at a nearby jewelry store. This is my first time buying a vintage watch. One thing that struck me is that the watch has a blue face, and gold markers and hands. I am under the impression that Omega never made a Seamaster 30 Blue & Gold. I am thinking the dial has been redone. It is for sale at $500.

I would like to know if any of you know if Omega did indeed make that color dial on the Seamaster 30.

    Thank you!

    (sorry, no photos.)

Does not sound like a likely combination to me, but no way to know for certain without pictures.

The Seamaster 30 is a hand wind watch, not an automatic, that should be your first red flag.

Wow. Well that settles it doesn't it. That's disappointing.

I will try and get a photo soon but if XJR is right, this is a sad story.

Seamaster 30 is a favorite of the Mumbai watch chop shops. I've never seen a real Omega blue dial on these.

    Run away from this one,
