Considering a purchase - Omega vintage from 1951/52

Hi!

Im considering to buy this watch and im looking for insights from you guys regarding authenticity and pricing. The following information have been provided to me.

- The watch is newly overhauled (clockwork, case, dial, and hands)
- The leather strap is not original
- Calibre: 361
- Serialnumber: 129XX687
- Case back ref: B-6246
- Jewels: 17

Asking price approx $1140

It’s a nice looking watch. I’m certainly no expert but to me it looks like a relumed, repainted dial, and likely polished case. From a collectors stand point it’s likely lost most of its “value” but it’s still a nice looking watch. If you’re looking for something with original dial, lume, hands and case this one is probably worth passing on.
