I'll take a Movado like that any day! In 1990 I was living in Jakarta & was offered a similar Movado Moonphase.

Sorry, I am making a mess of this post. Still finding my way.

I'll take a Movado like that any day!
In 1990 I was living in Jakarta & was offered a Movado Moonphase that was stunning!
Plus a lot of money at the time.
So stunning I could not trust myself.
    Still regret turning it down.
When you say that some are slightly larger, can you tell me a model & year?

Posted this in the wrong place.
    Acquired this Protil in December.
Could not resist this watch & the great news is that the photos (especially my poor efforts) do not give this watch it's true beauty. Silver. About 1980. Great condition. Runs perfect. Tomorrow I will buy a new strap. Any suggestions on the type of strap to suite this watch. 36mm.

Beautiful watches! my only issue if I were offered all of these watches (& had the available funds) is which one to choose!
May I ask for indicative pricing on each of these? or is that not the correct thing to do on OF?

+1 to the UG and JLC recommendations. OP, what did you end up going with / leaning towards? Lots of fantastic suggestions in this thread that I wish I knew about before.

I’ll echo the vote for UG. And happy to note that @Larry S and @bgrisso don’t yet have ALL of them...

Got to say. JLC makes some great moonphase pieces. Not sure there are many watches which match the Ultra Thin Perpetual Calendar with moonphase. Top watch, but a bit pricey, unfortunately.

Have you considered the 3575.20 Speedy Pro? Moonphase at the 12 position. Lots of subdials, but I love mine.

So many awesome moonphase watches! When I started the thread, I said I was considering affordable, vintage pieces, mainly due to budget constraints. However, I was secretly hoping that many would post their favorite moonphases anyway, regardless of price, and I was not disappointed!

So far, janice&fred are the frontrunners, due to the value for the dollar. Secretly hoping to see that Oris posted in the Private Watch Sales! ;)
