I'd like comments on this calibre, especially in terms of reliability, serviceability and possibly history. I looked for it on a Chuck Maddox page but only saw it listed under Seamaster Vintage. Any place else I can look?
The case back numbers include:
566 0285 and 766 0885
I do not know what they refer.
It would be a gift to my sister, so any help will be appreciated.

I don’t know anything about these but the finishes on the movement look incredible. Do you have pictures from the front? Seems like a fabulous watch.

Search results vaguely point to this being part of the ETA 2640 SERIES.

Certainly looks like an ETA movement.

This is a picture of a different watch, a "Speedmaster" with the same Reference # 566.0285.
The face of ladies watch I am considering looks very nearly the same
