Hi. My wife was given this vintage Omega watch from a deceased relative. As my wife already own an Omega Constellation, my relative thought she'd be the perfect recipient.

The vintage watch works well and keeps good time. It's a wind up mechanism but despite our research we can't seem to find out what model and spec it is, and whether it is actually gold. I know we could take the back off to find the serial number but until we can get to a trusted watch specialist we're wondering if anyone on the forum can help us?

Also, we need to know if the strap can be repaired? And if you can recommend anyone who could do this? As you can see from the photos below some links are damaged and my wife is reluctant to wear it in case the strap breaks.

Probably kind of Omega ladies' watch from the 1950s or early 1960s, might have a Calibre R13,5 or 12,5 or 440 ticking inside, or some other movement! (Hedging aggressively because I actually know no more than you do)

Perhaps my eyes deceive me, but is that a solid gold hallmark to the side of the crown that you can zoom in on? Try to find a hallmark anywhere on the case, bracelet or buckle... Also I don't know what kind of insult caused the bracelet damage but if you don't see any base metal through gold plating then that might be encouraging... I hope Omega had better sense and class in the 1950s than to make a ladies' bracelet in plated gold ;)

    Good luck
