Hey yallwith a 561

it looks like this has what looks like proper hour markers, not common minute indices, but still an option. The 3rd picture gives me hesitation bc the "A" on omega seems off, maybe bent during a reapply? also, isn't there normally a cardinal on the 12/6 and 3/9? I'm trying to be cautious here, just want expert opinioins.

Please post photos not just links.

Links disappear photos stay forever, besides it's a pain clicking links to help someone asking for free advise.

also, I am noting that the case seems to have been polished, the lugs look a little soft, and the medallion's smaller stars are faint.

Soft case, replacement crown, original but not attractive dial (although I'm not sure the lume hasn't bee replaced). I wouldn't even give this one a second look.

thank you for the candidate reply, this sort of feedback is exactly why I like this forum. I saw an octagonal crown and assumed it looked correct.

What makes the dial unattractive? i've seen plenty of black dials get love/respect on this forum. Is it the applied emblems and the associated "gunk" around it? is it the minute markers being at the edge of the dial?

as a note, I've only purchased a few vintage omegas, all on recommendation from forum members(a 166.020 SMDV 563 in crispy condition, a chronostop 146.009, and an octagonal GP155.219 in gold cap) and I really want to dive into the more collectible world of chrono constellations.

It's in poor condition.
