Good morning OF members.
I am offered this Constellation Arrow Head hour markers, ref 14381-2-SC, gold capped for about 1,200 USD.
To me it is in decent conditions: neat cal 561, pretty sharp case bevels, correct wordings on dial...
What are your thoughts please. Especially do you think watch dial is genuine? I meant not a redial
Thank you in advance.

I don’t like it at all, I suspect a fake. Can you provide photos of the outside of the caseback and the side of the case?

Thanks for quick reply @seekingseaquest.
Here are some outside pictures from seller. I did not see watch head in flesh.

Fake hands and crown for sure.
14381 should be time-only. 14393 would be the appropriate Constellation model w/ calendar.
There are also a number of things suspect about the case. At best it's ahorrendous refinish with a replacement medallion, and at worst also fake.

The movement looks like a franken, and the dial is quite poor. The furniture may have been salvaged from an original watch, but the dial base is either fake or heavily refinished.

Thank you very much for such a minute explanation. I did not expect these detail inconsistencies.
A pass on for sure.

@Caliber561 Thk for headups.

PS:
Woul add this for the shake of clarification: on that watch there is a clear sticker on the case back which is meant for protecting medallion.

There are certainly a number of things to be concerned about with this watch as others have said above.
It has a dogleg shaped bezel, wrong shaped case back and the gold ‘cap’ appears to bleed onto the back of the lugs.
The movt is supposedly a 24,4xx serial from ‘66 in a watch that finished production in around ‘62.
I don't think I’ve seen a whole fake of this reference before but if it walks like a duck…

This thread is a warning of things to come.

Every time you see a arrowhead dial pie-pan from now on, assume it's a fake...

And when I started this thread I was so confident about the case conditions! Thanks OF members for headups
