Hello everyone, I'm looking for my first Omega Speedmaster Pro. I'm looking at one with Ref 311 30 42 30 13 001. I know the transparent back is not "traditional" but I like it. My questions are: 1. All the information I find on this model say it has a brown dial. However, the watch I'm looking at has a black face. Does that mean it's fake or are their versions with black faces? 2. What is a reasonable price for a new speedmaster pro of this type? Thank you in advance for any and all help. M
That specific reference should have the brown dial, not black. It's possible someone has swapped the dial out I guess. Cheers, Al
Hi Al, Thanks for the response. That's what I believe as well. You can see the watch here, doesn't look brown to me and a replaced dial is not consistent with the description. This guy is in Kyoto and I live about 20 minutes from there but no time to go look at in person. I guess, I'll keep waiting. I have been looking at the prices on these and that one sold for about average in my opinion, the lowest I have seen one sell for was about $3,100
