Condition on my 105.003?

Only took some years to make my first post 😁

I have an β€˜65 EW I purchased in 2014 and I am looking to verify some things. Can you help determine what is original or not or general condition?

I think the pushers are correct but crown is service, the dial has a a drag mark on hr sub-dial but otherwise dial is correct for 1965, and I have some question marks on the hippocampus and how clean it is but the stamps on the inside look correct. The case showed the original facets so not over-polished i think. I am not sure if it is original lume or re-lume but it looks so aged that I guess it is original. That covers most of what i know. I took off the DON for now for safekeeping and i use the transparent caseback to enjoy looking at the movement. Below is a bit of a photo dump my phone with the decimal bezel I currently use but also the original DON.

Any info or opinions would be appreciated!

A well put together sales post. 🀦
I did consider that my post might look like that, but that is not my intention. If you have any suggestion on how I may edit my post to better ask for the help I am seeking, please let me know.

I have longer memberships and good refs on other forums and dont plan to have the required amount here (because I currently only have 1 omega), but I think it is the best place for info on speedmasters. The pinned post also specifically mentions requests for condition and valuation. I would like to know both of these before I put my reputation on the line in other forums.

Go back in time several years, add an avatar, and start participating in the community. It's always going to look suspicious when someone can't be bothered to participate until it's time to sell something.

Ya that is fair enough. Always been very much a lurker to be honest and have very low post counts everywhere but I have done plenty buying and some selling. I would like to think that contributes to the forums. I am older and wiser now 😁 and back into the hobby after about 6-7 years, and now I would like to get the ones that got away like a really nice japan racing dial or an alaska project.

Hello mate!... Also, have a look at William's @Spacefruit , Speedmaster101 Youtube channel. Scroll across and find the post headed:
'I Just Bought A Speedmaster Ed White - Is It A Good One?'. πŸ‘

P.S. get yourself a fakkinn avatar! and look interested in posh watches! ..... It will improve your PR around this place no end mate! 😁

Also...I've got to say, I like the idea of looking at my 321 ticking away, through the glass case back. But don't tell anybody I said so...... they will only take the piss! 😟

Cheers! πŸ˜€

Well dear sir, I had a look in my inbox and found the original receipt for it. It is from https://www.customwatchconcepts.com/ which seems to still exist so just go for it. Forum ninjas can piss all over me, it will be the warmest I been all year. I personally dont give a monkeys what purists or forumites say about it, I have the original caseback and I put this on so I can flip it around and make sure it’s still there. Seriously though, why not, the 321 movement is beautiful to look at.

Re Avatar, will have a look later tonite on a computer, cant find where the options are on mobile.

P.S. 5 posts today, at this rate I will surpass Dan in 10000 days! Plz dont ban me for farming now, I’m contributing!

(No @Dgercp , I dont own the site or have an affiliate link)
