    Hello :)

I’ve found a nice Omega Constellation Deluxe but iam not an expert on the Deluxe models.

What do the Connie experts here say about the condition? What would be a good price on it?

The owner will send me pictures of the inside tomorrow.

    Greetings

    Terrible photos.
Take some in natural light (outside) in the shade

The strap is tight at the bottom and loose at the top. Either a poorly made strap or the lugs are bent.
My gut feeling the watch is all original but as @watchlovr says better photos are needed to assess properly.
Also movement pics and inside case back would be helpful.
A nice original example would fetch ball park £3k, maybe slightly more.

Looks like a really nice 2852 2853 connie with a 505 caliber if I'm not mistaking. One recently sold for EUR 3600 on ebay. Going to check my followed watch list.. ::book::

A correct crown will cost $300 more.

Cosmetically, it looks a good, honest example, but a decagonal crown would accessorise it nicely and be more correct for this model. Buckle is of a much later period. Still shows some definition in the bezel, the lugs are a bit rounded but not overly so. Dial is in great condition by the look of it. Case back markings are quite crisp including the medallion. Lots of patina. So it's about 5 out of ten cosmetically.

Movement pics are a must to ensure that everything is correct.

Price is reasonable, as pristine examples fetch considerably more.

    Cheers

    Desmond

Two different watches shown, OP’s watch already has correct crown.

Subject to better pics, it looks pretty honest, and in very acceptable condition. Cleaning up the crystal and giving the case a gentle wipe over with a silver cloth will do wonders.
