... rectangular watches ... I love them, but I never bought one ... there was always something "better" around ... can we see some pictorial evidence of square watch love?
Hi @al128 I dont own a rectangular watch Sir but the one Dear person i MISS Very Much[emoji173] in the forum is @Riviera Paradise & he has one of the best rectagular watches i have ever seen in his private collection. So Mr GMT M II Riviera of Rio....i know i dont have your permission to post the JLC Ultra Thin Duo Face on this thread....but You Know What.... Screw You Riviera !
The only non=round watch I have. Hamilton "DeWitt" circa 1950. It actually looks better than the pic, I've cleaned it up some since then.
...bought this GP @ a yard sale in Great Neck, NY for 10 bucks circa 1999. My watchmaker performed some wizardry and it's since become one of my favorites... Looks great with shirtsleeves
The below sandwich dial is not my watch, but I had to share And I would love to own a similar example to the one below - image from AJTT
I've got loads of them! I love 'em. Just a few to show: 14K white gold (and so is bracelet); great-grandpa's watch CK 920 Trophy Stanley Seckron Otis Dunkirk Ardmore
Really an occasion for me to bore everyone with some old small stuff... and some more here ; http://www.casimages.com/u/tire-comedon/357886/
I love that hour hand!! Is that original? What is the reference number and the case size? You've got some great tanks there!!
I believe it's an Omega Marine Standard. Omega's second divers watch, after the omega marine. Which would explain the "Neptune" hand.
Those are indeed the Neptune hands, original Omega. The model is ref CK3683, marine standard 2 with a R17.8 Inside. In fact the third divers watch, after the marine (CK679 with caliber 19.4) and marine standard (CK3635 with caliber T17 Inside). All 3 marine models are in my above post.
