Maybe don’t hold your breath. The post you’re quoting is 6 years old and that member last logged into the forum just shy of a year ago.
You never know until you ask..😎
Thank you for your answer though !

However, many models are sold without the bezel, aren't these several different models? There must be a bezel normally on an Admiralty?

Hello everyone.
I spotted this 135042 on Chrono24.
I would like your opinion on it. The winding crown seems suspicious to me, the bezel has a strange burgundy tone and also the mechanism that despite being declared to have been serviced seems a bit dirty.
I am convinced that your more keen eyes will be able to tell me more.

I attach photos and links
Thank you for your cooperation

Recently purchased Omega Admiralty with case reference 166.038. Its the date version with short lugs.

I might need to replace the crystal and might replace the gasket at same time. Any advice which part reference numbers should I be looking for?

I noticed that someone had previously posted part numbers for the crystal but it had no cyclop for the date window. Is the crystal with date window still available?

Watch has been serviced some years ago and it has the newer replacement crown from Omega. I would appreciate if someone has sightings of the original thinner crown.

Crystal with cyclops is 063PZ5127L. Still available from Omega.

Case back seal is 088NS0010.

Hello everyone,

I am a proud owner of an admiralty ancoretta ref 135.042. It was given to me by my late grandfather so it has great sentimental value, but it is also quite beaten up. There are two main issues with it:
The clasp of the original bracelet is broken, and the “crystal” (plexiglass) is a bit scraped.
I have two questions:
What bracelets can I buy to replace the broken one which fit (stylistically and mechanically) on this watch, any suggestions (lug to lug 18mm)?
Where can I take the watch to have the “crystal” repaired? All Omega resellers in my area (Amsterdam) have told me to bug off.

Thanks in advance.

Ale.

Hi. You can get better advice if you upload good quality photos. Good luck

If you post some pictures of the watch people can give better advice weather the crystal can still be polished or if you should replace it.

Pictures attached. I think it can be fixed with just some polywatch.
What about the bracelet, where could I buy the original brushed bracelet? Also don’t hate at all the Fixo flexed bracelet.
Picture of the original bracelet also attached.

Hello everyone, I've obtained a 136.015 and have just installed a genuine NOS 5127 crystal. I bought the crystal through a dealer. But it looks so high. Can anybody tell me if this looks correct? The crystal is pressed all the way down, so it's installed properly. The last picture shows a measurement without the case bottom. Thanks for your help!

It was the wrong crystal. The diameter was correct, but height was too high. I ordered two other ones from different dealers with the proper height: both height around 3.9mm (crystal itself). Diameter around 31.7mm.

I replaced the gasket of the vintage crown 42057. The original gasket looked like this, see the photo. And it had a tiny steel ring inside the gasket, which remained now in the crown. I actually replaced it by a round gasket. It pushed the steel ring to the side. This replacement one has the dimensions: outside 3,75mm, inside 2.15, thickness 0.8mm. Same I used on vintage Speedmaster crowns.
