If you are looking to get an admiralty and see this one listed on eBay, do not purchase it. I purchased it previously, when only the photo not showing the extensive dial damage was shown and had a nightmarish hell of a return with this seller "luxury_essentials90" who listed it in great condition before and did not mention anything about the copious amounts of water damage, and also rust in the movement. After fighting him for a while, I finally got a full refund, and he waited at least a month to relist it, now mentioning the "Minor Wear" on the dial. Be patient, and find a better one, like I did!

FYI, a rare red-dialed Admiralty just came up on the Bay. Comes with the original band and clasp as well, though the former is pretty well worn out. OMEGA GENEVE Admiralty 135.042 Rarität in roter Ausführung TOP ! https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/-/393436444963

Another option for the short lug non-diver is a <slightly modded> Uncle Seiko Flat Link bracelet.

I have an Omega Admiralty 135.042 (diver) on the way - can any of the experts here please tell me the ref for the Omega BOR Bracelet that will fit? It has the "oyster" bracelet and I am wanting to add the Beads of Rice as an option to change out.
Thank you

Sold on 1168 bracelet, not on bor...
Cool, Thank you, is there an Omega BOR that will fit the diver case? Or is that taboo?
Cheers

I have a manual no date black dialled version of the Admiralty, and it lives on a simple "genuine leather" strap made by Omega. I always thought that the strap looked just fine ... but now I think that a fixoflex or a flatlink would be a much better choice ... (or maybe something that picks up the orange?)

Opinions differ. I think yours looks great, and I have a military-dial one on brown oiled leather, which I also think is aces. One of the many nice things about these Admiralties is that they are very adaptable and look great on a number of straps, from the more formal like yours to the metal to a NATO. Personally, for the "longhorn" 17mm, I prefer leather, since the narrowness of the strap also makes it a bit more formal. Some might not like the space created between the case and the strap, but to me, this just emphasizes the uniqueness of the longhorn configuration. A thicker strap (e.g. a RIOS aviator) also can reduce that space, if so desired.

I've never owned an Admiralty before, but it's such a cool line. Wouldn't it be cool to see Omega revive this in some way??

Got this back from a service today. Unfortunately probably going to have to get rid of it to pay Covid expenses. Not sure if you call this one a red diver or a burgundy. Ive seen some admiralties that looked bright red but maybe it was just the photography. Is there a possibility these divers came in blue, red, grey and burgundy?

Really nice piece. I'd say Burgundy. And yes, it's probably just the lighting!

Yeah, I would love one of these in a 37mm size if they brought it back. I love the orange seconds and markers.
