Coming GMT options with METAS?

Hi,

I was just wondering what are the current option for a new Omega watch with GMT function paired with METAS cert? I found PO GMT 215.30.44.22.01.001 (https://www.omegawatches.com/watch-...master-chronometer-gmt-43-5-mm-21530442201001) and there is AT Worldtimer as well 220.10.43.22.03.001 (https://www.omegawatches.com/watch-...ronometer-gmt-worldtimer-43-mm-22010432203001). The former is nice and readable but too thick for my taste, the latter (although nice on photos) is to busy for me, not mentioning the price tag...

I'm looking for sth similar to 300M or standard AT with GMT complication - is there anything I'm missing out? Or maybe any rumors of upgrading AT GMT version with METAS cert in the near future?

No rumors that I know of, but I just want to repeat what I have expressed in other threads: Omega is missing the mark by not having a GMT-focused watch with a rotating bezel, instead of adding the complication to the Planet Ocean and Aqua Terra lines.

Instead of naming the Constellation we all wanted “Globemaster” they could have used that name for their GMT watch and marketed it at a price between the Tudor and Rolex GMT models. I think they would have made a killing.

I totally agree with you. I don't like R with its cyclops eye, I'd love to see a decent Omega reply in that sector some day.

I think it is safe to say the PO line is up for a refresh. So, be on the lookout for a potential GMT. I am right there with you...waiting patiently for a proper Omega GMT...hopefully in 42mm...

The PO line needs a refresh and thinner cases for sure.

But In my humble opinion the GLOBEMASTER should deserve its name more by having GMT hand and master the globe in better way 😀

42mm with a 14mm or less thickness.

There is old (i.e. without METAS) line of AT with GMT function, but its aesthetic doesn't talk to me. This why I though Omega would refresh this part of AT line at some point, maybe with a slight redesign as well.

Anyway, even if they introduce new PO line it will be 600m rated so I wouldn't count on much reduced thickness.
