When I see cars made after about 73 listed as classic I start to wonder about my age.

Several today, local cruise. Hundreds of 60s muscle cars, so I tried to take pics of some that were different. Pics are not the best.

Early 1980s Lancia Montecarlo today

an hour later

Sorry the photos are a bit wobbly, they were taken from a moving bus. Tomorrow I might get a bicycle out and ride over there for a chat.

It has been about 4 years in the making...so a few more months won't hurt hah.
Not mine by the way. Father in laws.
I posted it here probably a long time ago when it was silver and on Cooper Cobra white walls haha
The thing has gone through a whole mechanical and interior/exterior restoration.

That鈥檚 something you don鈥檛 see every day! It鈥檚 hilarious when you see one of these at a distance and assume it鈥檚 something huge, then when you get up close it鈥檚 only 2/3 the size of a similar big American of that era

These ones are quite large, very similar to standard US saloons. With this particular model 1929 Austin 16 / 6 Herbert Austin wanted to make a car design based around but improved Hudson 6 saloons, which he very much succeeded in doing.
You don't see many of these 6 cyl cars about they are pretty rare, mostly you see Austin 10 and 7 which are much more diminutive cars than the 16's.
