I received an email with an attachment from a friend, this morning. Her son had bought himself a hobby car, and he came to take her for a ride. This is the car. I am no judge of Corvettes but this one looks to me to be from some time in the mid 1960s.

Spotted this little Alfa GT Junior Last week. Had a quick chat with the owner. In daily use.

Some fun rides shown at a modest car show in Wisconsin yesterday. The Volvo included purely for it pulling on my heartstrings of childhood nostalgia

I have fond memories of a ‘79 244DL, it was the family car for many years. I learned to drive in it, much to the amusement of my pals!

With an E type, an AH, and a TR6 it looks like it was a good show.

The P1800 is an interesting car too. What's that next to the TR, a Midget or a Sprite?

Nice line up of Citröens behind the E type too. A few DS’s, an SM (Maserati engine) and a Mehari.

MG. I don't think the A-H ever had that chrome stripe but MG often did -- for example MGB.

Saw a Frog/Bug-Eye at my usual spotting place (Tesco car-park) last week. It was going out as I was going in so no chance of a photo.

There are also a couple of Triumph GT6 at the latest show, not at all common to see.

Good eye! It’s a Midget if I’m not mistaken. I have a picture of it. And one of the rear of the AH just behind it. Yeah, it was a pretty neat show. Lots of trailer queens but also a lot of Sunday drivers for good measure.

Definitely an MG, the A-H Sprite radiator grill was quite different and if you look at the full size image.... 😉

I had one of each MG and A-H at well separated times. Here's the Midget, about to be driven away by its fresher student new owner after a 2-day course in my garage on the care & feeding of BMC A-series cars. It didn't belong to me, I got it back to reasonable running condition for his owner-from-new aunt -- who would not agree to my idea of making a Westfield Eleven out of it. As a Westfield it may have survived now 30-odd years later, as an MG probably not.

Think the green "big" Healey is a 100/6, can't see enough of the red one but it's probably the same.

I’m by no means an expert on these but the red AH had a straight 6 and the green one had a 4 if that helps 😀

Right, that makes the green the earlier 100/4 and the red a 100/6.

Quite right, I hadn't paid any attention to the chrome strip until you mentioned it.

Wow, it's taken me a week to pin this one down!

And the blue car in front of it is a Triumph TR4 or TR4A.

Known as the C2 generation, they were built for only 5 years (1963 to 1967). Very desirable. I believe that's in Sunfire Yellow.
