CK2913 Help

Hi everyone, I'm currently looking at this Omega CK2913 however I have some doubts over the watch. First, through research I read that the CK2913 had a straight or lollipop seconds hand while this has a teardrop hand (which could mean it's a replacement hand? Or actually a CK14755?). Secondly, the back case seems different to the pictures of the CK2913 casebacks to me. I've sent an email enquiring about the movement and was told that it was a cal. 501 hence I am asking for your expertise.

Lastly, I know its hard to source for a replacement bezel but what are my options in terms of getting a replacement bezel or getting it redone?

Thank you!

Looking it outside, seems to be a 14755. Teardrop hand and "slimmer" caseback as you described. Maybe they confused the 552 mov. with the 501 movement of the 2913. I've never seen a 2913 with that caseback. The 14755 had a slimmer caseback for the new movement 552. The 501 is higher and you can't close the caseback in the pic.

Yes it looks like a 14755. The caseback is the main clue. Due to the hand it should be a late one. So it cannot be a 2913 if every parts is original to the watch.

The watch as a 14755 looks pretty good by the way

Thanks for your help! Glad to see that doing my homework has paid off! Would you say that the 14755 is in good shape?

Also are 14755 and 165.014 parts interchangeable as I am looking to maybe perhaps purchase a 165.014 (that had dial and hands replaced) to replace its bezel and case (which seems to have assymetrical lugs)

Does the case look over-polished and need replacing in your opinion? Or any other parts besides the bezel that needs replacing?

IMHO, I wouldn't replace anything other than partially restore the bezel and have missing numbers and markers repainted where needed, while keeping 30, 40 and the hour markers at 5 and 6 that appear original completely intact.

Finding another 165.014 or even 14755 with a nice original bezel and case will be even more difficult and will most likely cost you as much as this watch or even more, thus making your project unnecessarily costlier than finding just one watch that is right.
