Hi everyone I’m looking for help on having the ( bezel pip / holder ? replaced on this countdown bezel , I’m also wanting any sort of assistance on the originality of this Bezel insert from my research so far it is looking consistent and ok but these are the best photos that I have currently and can’t see the “concave” as suggested in other posts. it will be eventually going on a ck2913–3 and I’ve read the first 2 variations on the bezel inserts should be countdowns and the following 6 should be count forwards but 2913-3 have been seen sold with countdowns also ?
I’m not too upset if its not period correct given the rarity of the Bakelite intact if its original ( seller has suggested so , because of the pip being non existent it has been stored away ) but any info on the originality of this insert or advice to the possibility of finding a replacing the pip is my main reason for this small novel aha . Thanks I’ll attach photos of the bezel in question

This looks concave and original to me. The 2913-3 can be seen with both count-backward and count-forward style bezel, but the -3 also has two different case back style. The earlier style has the word "SEAMASTER" above the seahorse.

Here's an OF thread with similar issue of the pip snapping off of the bezel ring. Somebody mentioned in it that it can be fixed, but there is risk associated with damaging the inlay.

Awesome mate thanks for the reassurance on the bezel insert and good info on the case back - my movement is saying 1958 and just checking now the caseback says “seamaster” above the seahorse which makes me happy aha . I’ll check that thread now thanks mate
