Hi all,

I am looking to buy this CK2129 from a friend and wanted to get any advice from the community before pulling the trigger. Two points of particular interest for me are the possible miss-print of the numbering on the caseback and the dial which seems to be in extraordinary condition compared to others I have seen.

This watch has recently returned from a service at Chronoart Sankt Gallen where it received a used second hand and a 'dial adjustment' was also done. I am trying to find out exactly what that means via the seller.

Please let me know if you have any points of help/observations as I would like to make sure I am buying as well as possible. Many thanks in advance.

I was watching an auction for one of these last week. In non-working condition it sold for £6000 + commission. That’s £7800 in total. I don’t know specifics about this model but to me it all looks original. If the price was cheap go for it. If the price is expensive - I’d ask for clearer photos of all aspects including movement and wait for more opinions just to confirm 😀

Difficult to say for the dial without better pictures. But if redone, it's a nice job.
I have a doubt on the hours hand that seems too short and narrow to me.
