I would appreciate your help! I own a 1959 CK2913 (abstract from archive 1959) with original unrestored bezel. I resisted to get it restored - I heard that there is an italian watchmaker who does a perfect job on them. (who is this by the way)
I see some examples with perfect bezel...how can I detect, if the bakelite in the bezel is still original or restored?
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experience!

Judging from the pic above, I would personally leave the original as is. It's in pretty good condition given its age, but like us, the wrinkles of time add character!
