This is a brief shout-out to Chris Nicholas, one of our resident watchmakers who runs CJN Watches to express my gratitude for the great customer service and expert advice he provided as he worked on my watch. As many of you know, finding a competent watchmaker who is willing to make room on his bench to work on your watch could be a challenge - I’m glad that Chris accepted to work on my watch and I was extremely pleased throughout the entire process, from the time he received the watch until the watch was safely returned to me. Chris kept informed, clearly explained the necessary repairs that were needed and provided a detailed report with tons of pictures of the entire process. I will definitely use his services in the future. @ChrisN , thanks again for your patience and for graciously accommodating my requests.

and of course, a few after pictures of the artifact :)

Yes Chris is a true gentleman, now let’s keep this between ourselves lest he is overrun with work

That's very good of you, @alam and it is a lovely watch - not one I wanted to let go... I can say that you were a pleasure to deal with and am very happy that you're pleased.

Thanks as well to @Alpha for the kind words

    Regards, Chris

This is what we refer to as an "occupational hazard" Chris. I have a few watches in my watch box that I never considered owning before I saw them in my shop for service...
