Its quite large for a dress watch but i suppose modern large.

However, i think these look stunning.

The dial to me is the most important part of the watch, then the markers.

The dials are very Jaeger LeCoultre and the markers are classic vintage Omega/Patek/JLC.

The closest is the Aqua Terra (38mm version). But all of the elegance is sucked out with that version. The dial is clumsy and textured with no pearlescent finish or white gold markers.

Therefore, they should put this into production in my opinion. Its lovely.

I did not post the steel edition Seamaster Venice (Edizione Venezia). I like that watch as well, it would be my second choice … but the Sedna gold is stunning. I am not sure how they fit with the city collection. I agree they are all nice but the Venice editions edge it for me.

I was on the Omega site yesterday and saw the 5 different City Watches offered. I would like to know why they are limited to these 5?

Me too and if you like a darker version, the paris edition is lovely too... but Venice for sure.

A real classic.

What are peoples feelings now towards the developing City collection?
I had missed it completely. I don't think the Seamaster Venice (Edizione Venezia) is even part of that collection.... but I do think it is a lovely watch in Sedna gold. Shame it is limited/local purchase only.

@007007007 what about venice….I know it is sinking but it is still a city in my book and at 3mm per year the Seamaster can handle it. I am not sure why they don't list the two superb offering with the city collection...they seem well hidden

no doubt the Seamaster can handle it LOL but I was trying to figure out the logic of picking cities. Is Los Angeles, NYC, Dubai, etc to follow?

I suspect they pick the cities they think will sell the most watches. So larger cities with affluent residents.

Or, they may just have fun with it, say 'screw it' to understated class, and add in Reno and/ or Vegas...

I hope not.... I can see the commercial logic but we might all get a bit Sea sick / the dials might feel a bit off colour by the end of a long run :0)

Some of those Reno boys are way ahead in the fashion game and know to show some Venice Sedna when they have to flash some steel with the big irons.....

What was special about the venezia edition? Others have the skyline of the eponymous city edition.

I'll be in Singapore soon, will try to take a look at the Singapore edition in the flesh. While it's very attractive, the price tag puts me off. Maybe I'll be convinced otherwise.

Well for one thing it is not listed as part of the City Editions on the website but not sure why. It was the first version I saw and for some reason I have always been drawn to it / I really like that piece. I had to edit the photo to show it with the city editions.

Maybe it’s the hidden city.

What city is the top right? Seems that aside from that and venice, all have a fume-esque dial.

The white dial with blue indices and hands is the Singapore edition.
