Looks like Omega is following a country-by-country strategy at the moment and OBs in other countries do not seem to be aware of what is happening in the other countries. My local (Hamburg) knew nothing about that Hoodie, sorry Hodinkee Release and were also caught napping on the Tokyo 2020 Speedmaster release.

It doesn’t surprise me that they have no idea about watches released for other markets and unavailable to them.
Good catch Longbow I think this is the nicest rendition so far of the "classical" Seamaster with a steel case. The black strap, sunburst grey dial with the gold hour markers seems to be overall a more balanced design. Limited edition run of 1291. I would certainly consider looking at this if I had a stopover in Zurich next year. Not sure it will still be available by then...hopefully all the Omega collectors will be distracted by Speedmaster LEs for the next 12 months
If only Omega had shown the same restraint with the Omega Seamaster 1948 that had with this presentation back, I would have been all over the 1948. Guess it didn't really matter as they had no problem selling out the 1948 LE.
I just received one and it is at my Local Boutique for an extra long strap. It's dial is just gorgeous as the OMEGA stock photos don't do it justice. I will post actual photos when I have it back.
I don't love the city motif, but I love everything else about this. Rose gold and grey hits me right in the wallet.
You might want to double check that.... NYC is heavily rumored and you forgot Venice. Also Paris??? Are you sure?
