Hello OF experts,

Seeking your kind help and advice. I recently purchased this citizen log master at an online auction. It was advertised as junk and for parts so didn’t spend much. However when I received it I realized the watch is working well and the only really issue was that the crystal is loose and keeps falling off. My local watchmaker said he can’t fix it as the problem is with the bezel ( too loose he said). He doesn’t speak much English so I wasn’t really sure what he was getting at. Any ideas if it’s salvageable or can be fixed ? Or what part would I need if at all? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks of !

Citizen Log Master.... Interesting name.

Somehow it reminded me of this:

It could be that you just need the proper crystal. Some watches have the bezel compress the crystal against the case middle. Without the proper crystal, the bezel will be loose. Is your watchmaker familiar with Japanese watches?

I sure hope so ... Has been my go to guy for my Seiko's and Grand Seiko's.
If its the wrong crystal that is easy to solve!
