I was hoping to get positive confirmation from the expertise within the forum that my 145.022 69 ST, serial number 305***** would have come with a step dial, and only a step dial, from the factory. It currently sports a flat dial, and I'm being told that it is, in fact, correct for my vintage. Thanks for your insight.
Photo of said flat dial? -Does it have the short and open S in Speedmaster? -Does it have "T SWISS MADE T" at the bottom? (T's are important)
Poor photos. I know that the hands are incorrect, as well. I'm going to have to source a set of correct hands, as well as a period step dial. I just wanted to confirm what was necessary to make it all complete.
The dial's for a 3590.50, mid-1990s, and is way incorrect. Who's telling you it shouldn't be a stepped dial?
Nobody on the forum is telling me this dial is correct. It's someone with just enough experience to have an opinion.
