Hi there & thanks for having me. Am glad that I stumbled across this forum, as I start to realise that hunting for vintage Speedmasters is nearly as treacherous as hunting for vintage Submariners, GMTs and Daytonas. Yes I'm a Rolex guy, who had his first automatic Speedmaster reduced in 2006 and sold it quite quickly. Didn't look at Omega and Speedmasters for the following 10 years and got lost in the endless h(a)unts for aforementioned Rolex, Panerais, Royal Oaks and Aquanauts. Got a 861 powered Speedmaster as part of a trade in 2015 and am hooked ever since. Too little too late one could say, but personally I think it's never too late. My humble Omega collection today consists of the aforementioned Speedmaster (now living its life as a Mitsukoshi mod), a Speedy Tuesday "2" Ultraman and a Watchco SM300. Would love to add a nice 145.012 or 145.022-68 to the fold soon, but I realise that I have a lot of studying to do. Thanks again for having me, I'm looking forward to contributing here as far as my humble knowledge allows. Cheers Stephane
Welcome and good luck hunting, better late than never! (admitted you are late) May I illustrate where you approximatly will end up ?
