·Hi Everyone,
I have a Seamaster Chronostop Ref. 145.007 and its one of my favourite watches in the collection. Recently, I found a pulsation inner bezel that I can buy to replace the original Tachymeter. The part is an original Omega part as some 145.007's did actually come with a pulsation dial. I just wanted to gauge to see if this is something I should be doing. I know replacing parts on an all original vintage watch is a special type of sin, but I'm not sure if this case, it matters as its an original Omega part made for this watch. I also think it would just be something cool to have. Im doing my PhD in biomedical engineering so having a pulsation dial would be a nice nod to my research. I would also like to know if adding a the pulsation inner bezel would add any value to the watch as I know pulsation variations of the 145.007 are more sought after. I would love to hear everyones opinions on this.
