·Hi all, apologies for asking this here if it’s not the right place (I unfortunately can’t post in WTB yet, if that’s where this belongs).
I recently had a pusher break off of a late 60s chrono that I’m looking to replace. The screw that holds the cap in place actually snapped right at the threads, so the cap is unfortunately unusable now as the top half of the screw is stuck in there. I’ve disassembled and taken some measurements of the in-tact pusher, and I’m trying to figure out where I can source the following (note - pics of each attached below, and I do apologize if sourcing these parts is very difficult. I’m new to the watchmaking hobby):
- cylindrical pusher cap w/ 4mm diameter and 3mm height
- screw for pusher cap w/ 4.5mm length and approx 1mm diameter
- spring for pusher approx w/ 5mm height and approx 2mm diameter
- overall, the screw/pusher are about 6.3mm - 6.5mm long when screwed together
The washer and piece that holds the pusher in place are both in fine shape. I would not need those unless it was required to install the new pusher.
