I'm always a sucker for pink gold...so when this one came up I had to have it. It's a bigger Constellation 2648 and it looks so nice in real life! I need some pictures in natural light, these pictures really don't do it justice. I didn't even have to clean it up! :D

    Even the medallion is rose:

Also something else but it's not for me. :)

Either make a new strap, or cut down an old one through the middle and then glue it so that middle piece is exposed. I'll post pictures when it's finished, but at the moment one side is cut out and is ready to be glued.

Tony, you can edit posts at any time here. It's a little more user friendly than TZ.

It must be a rare dial for a 2648 with Omega logo with sharp edges

Thanks Dennis! I wasn't paying attention, but that is a welcome feature.

Do you think the dial is ok Hoi? Found another with the sharp edge Omega logo:

Not Hoi, but that dial screams "original!" to my eye.

Original - with little doubt in my mind - the 2648 dials were slightly larger than many of the subsequent connie dials that came with cal. 354.

    Kyle

Would you please post a close up on that logo. Here's my 2699 with a round logo

Sure, I'll get it tomorrow. Logo is also pink gold. Serial is 14.2 mil so it is a little later than the majority that I have seen online.

    Yes, I think so, too.
It must be a very late run of 2648 model. My 2699 and 2652 have round logos and their serial # are in 13.5 mil range.
