Chocolate speedmaster 2998.

    Thought I would share a couple of shots while the sun was out.
    As it came from the factory and never changed apart from the bracelet disappearing. I love this one, the dial is just perfect.

    Very nice, I still need to get an example of a 2998 with alpha hands, finding something like this one would be rather perfect, the chocolate patina looks very even and attractive as does the colour of the radium lume, I'm sure you'll enjoy wearing it. Did it come on bracelet or do you prefer the NATO?

    I never had the bracelet with this one, The NATO is on because I am gardening today, I like to swap and change the straps all the time.

    Ahhhh...I saw the title of this thread and was reluctant to click on it...indeed it is one of those posts that would make one green with envy. That is one beautiful 2998! Dare I say perfect!? A perfect sunny day to enjoy this one too! Enjoy!

    I have been thinking, do you believe the crown is not original to this one? did this type of crown not come on the 2998-2?

    Crown came original with the watch as my NOS 2998-1 has the same crown.

    Some beauties indeed. I know some of the guys on here have breath taking collections too but we only get to see the tip of the iceberg.
