THIS 1970 CHELSEA SHIPS BELL CLOCK WITH HEAVY FORGED BRASS CASE WITH MARINE THREADED BEZEL IS SUPERB !!,! SERIAL NUMBERS MATCHING #748528. THIS CHELSEA SHIPS BELL CLOCK . Freshly polished, lacquered and fully serviced. Running fine . Dont mind the dust ! hahahaha
This is the Chelsea in-house Ship's Bell movement "4L" this is a generational movement , i have earlier verison the the "4" form 1901 still running and striking with only needing a cleaning. This not to be confused with the lower quality German made Hermle 132-071 clock movement used it later models Boston Shipstrike and Ships bell... see my article here...
