Latest addition to the cheapo collection 😀 Helvetia was once a renowned brand, but by the late 1960s it had degenerated to cheapo territory. This watch has a SS case and runs Unitas caliber 6325. Cost at auction was 30€ - solid value IMO. I really like the glossy black dial with tritum arabics.

Hey now, I think I object to the 'cheapo' label! I would say 'value'!

You are right though, after they stopped making their own movements in 1968 the quality was never quite the same. 1930s to 1950s their movements were some of the best out there.

Great quality this Invicta. Compressor case, signed crown, caseback with medallion and signed Swiss movement.

Just picked up this vintage beauty Titan with rubies and diamonds. The gold second markers are recessed under the dial, and the checkered dial is marvellous 😀
