Hey all.

I made a previous post talking about how I’m new to the vintage omega watch community and am looking to purchase my first vintage Omega , I’m mainly looking at geneves as I like the classy look and the price is decent.

I viewed this geneve the other day and the seller sent me an offer , I’m wondering what y’all think about it and if you have anything to share , the crown is not omega original and cake from a longines, I’m not too worried about that .

If these photos were provided by the seller, they should be ashamed. I have included the movement picture. The short arrow points at a case clamp and case screw that are lying there, loose! The long arrow points at a gap in the perimeter of the movement where to case clamp and screw should be. The plating on the various bridges varies in colour, giving the movement a rather “washed out” look. These are obvious things they haven’t tried to hide. I wonder how many hidden things don’t show. The pictures are terrible. If you buy this turkey, by the time you do what is necessary, it will still look washed out, and it will no longer be “cheap”. These are common. You can buy better than this!
