If only it were from 1976, then It'd be harder to keep walking.
No step dial in ‘76 though…maybe it sat in the stockroom until ‘76? Perhaps it had its first service in ‘76? Maybe your parents were thinking fondly of having children in ‘71? How many ways can we justify this

Hmmm, I think that you would lose that bet. This is just one handful from the watch cabinet. While I currently have the ‘71 Speedy for sale, it will be welcomed back into the fold with open arms if it doesn’t find a new home.
