I have a Planet Ocean Titanium 8500 42mm and looking to switch it to an OEM blue band. Which is the model I would need? Someone mentioned that the AT bands would fit my watch.

The blue rubber deployant strap meant for that PO is 98000421. Keep in mind you'll also need the buckle (94521859 or 94521829
for the Ti versions).

As long as the others are 20mm and the non-integrated style then most Seamaster and Speedy options should work.

Some other blue options:

98000210 (blue rubber/white stitching)
CWZ005345 (blue fabric Speedy)
98000467 (blue gator AT)
CUZ007466 (blue gator AT with white stitching).

Hope that helps!

Anybody have any idea about the same question on the Planet Ocean 600M Co‑Axial Chronograph 45.5 mm Ref. 232.90.46.51.03.001?

Just call the nearest OB as indicated on Omegas website. You need the strap and the deployant.

Yeah, that's what I was planning. The only problem is that I'll be tempted to lay down the card then and there. I was hoping to find one at a third party for a little less (or at least explore what's out there).

You want the 98000376. The same deployant I listed above can be used for it (all the 22/20mm PO deployants can be interchanged more or less).

They are not generally cheaper at an AD.

As someone who has bought countless straps for my various Omegas (and others) I wholeheartedly second that! The AD (better yet boutiques) will know the exact model you need. It's amazing how two almost identical watches need such different straps (in terms of whole placement, size, etc). Save yourself the headache and buy the right one. I could open a store with all the "wrong" straps I've bought over the years.

Also, many of the grey market straps I've discovered have been fakes. They often look and feel very similar but after a while they die. Fast! Last thing you want is your watch strap splitting in two and having your watch crash down to the floor (or bottom of the ocean). If it's way cheaper than the price at the AD/Boutique then there's usually a good reason for that.

I agree wholeheartedly with this. I just ordered the factory rubber strap for my 42mm Ti Planet Ocean. I should have it next week.

You'll really like that combo. I find whenever I switch the bracelet and strap back and forth it makes it feel like a totally new watch each time.

And if you haven't done so already I 100% recommend the adjustable clasp for the bracelet. I put one one mine a month or two back and it was the best thing I could have done with the watch!

Yes the adjustable claspnos definitely the way to go. I ordered one and so did my wife so I have an extra that I need to put up for sale.

The best price I can find online is at swisswatchspares.com and it looks like $412 for the 94521829 clasp and $296 for the 98000376 band.

Can anyone elaborate on the adjustable clasp mentioned above; is it available in titanium and if so, what is the reference no.?

Oh, and I've seen curved springbars somewhere, can anyone supply a reference no.?

Thanks

I have the 45.5mm Ti PO (8500) so it's a bit different but I didn't need curved spring bars. I'm just using the factory ones whenever I swap the strap to bracelet. I did however pick up a giant pack on amazon for next to nothing so I can try this curved nato strap look on my Speedy I've seen online.

I believe those rubber bands were around $310 (CAD) from the Vancouver boutique. Not sure about price on the deployant clasp however. If you're in the US then I'd call a boutique.

Regarding the adjustable clasp I purchased the 11TIZ001151. Again this was for the 45.5 PO which uses the 22mm bracelet (which does taper down to 20mm at the clasp). I'm not familiar with the way the 20mm tapers (if it does?) but this one may also do the trick.

Hi all. New forum member. About to take delivery of a PO 600M 45.5mm, and want to put her on a blue rubber strap with the white stitching, Would it be the 98000376 or the 98000210 Are they still available, and will it fit? And I'll need a deployment clasp- could someone point me in the right direction, please? Many thanks, in advance.
