Certificate of Authenticity service suspended.

Hi all,

This is my first post. My understanding that both the Certificate of Authenticity and Certificate of Extract have been suspended. Does anybody know why or will the programs start up again?

It seems to be connected with the auction scandal where Omega employees exploited the extract service to fraudulently authenticate a watch and shared in the profits.

Supposedly, Omega has indicated that the service will resume, but they haven’t given a firm timeline. And I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Some folks have shared communications from Omega that suggests they're targeting Summer 2024. As @Dan S notes, best to view that timeframe as aspirational.
