Respectable Members, I have received today the famous centenary 2500 for which I had asked your advices. So it is only fair to show it to you first (after my wife who happened to be around). First, for MSN you were right, it is pink gold with yellow gold dial. Second, Happy Birthday to that guy who PMed me to see if ...sorry but I'll keep it, third to the other guy who PMed me, well, now I have one and it was definitelly cheaper. To the rest of you, thank you for you wise opinions. Unfortunately I didn't receive the original gold buckle nor the silver box, but I received the original 18 k gold spring-bars. As you can see in last picture, it is not perfect as the dial varnish is a little damaged between 6 and 10 and there is a little chip at minute 50. Other than that it is very nice and still lively.
Haha I sometimes have UPS hold a package at their depot so I can pick it up discreetly after work. Not that my wife has ever given me any trouble about watches, but it doesn't hurt to be proactive. I admit this might be a sign of addiction.
Nice. I've seen quite a few with flaked off clear coat around the edges. Luckily solid gold dials don't have any paint to ruin, so as long as the ink is intact the watch will still be worthwhile to most collectors.
I have everything delivered to my office. That way the only nagging is from our receptionist who has to sign for them.
