Hello all.
I am attaching some seller pics and a few taken by me on the wrist. The hands and crown are certainly replaced. The movement doesn't seem to be in great Nick although timekeeping is spot on.
The text on the dial is gone.
The asking is USD 2100 . I have not negotiated yet as I am unsure about this piece.
The reason for asking you guys is that given the rarity... Should I be considering this watch with all its issues?
Thank you!

It’s missing all of the font - seems like someone tried to clean the dial and failed miserably. I would pass even at $2k

Rough shape...you should be able to find a nice one with some patience for around $2500.

Movement is wrong too...
Could you please tell me how to know that!?
I am very intrigued. Is it cause it has no chronometer markings?

IIRC not all of the 28.10 RA JUB movements used in the first series 2499s were not marked adjusted. The only way to know if the movement is a JUB is to see the markings under the balance.

It's possible, but I haven't seen any with a verified pedigree that have a typical rotor. If you know some examples though, color me interested in some pics.
