I waited for this baby for several months but it was well worth it. The owner kept changing his mind about selling his Tudor Submariner 9411/0 snow flake so I just bided my time until he finally relented. This is the third snow flake in my collection and probably the most unique because of the ghost bezel that has turned into a light brown color. It matches well with the patina on the hour markers and hands.
Killer example. It has aged to perfection! Exactly what you'd expect to see.....Love the light brown bezel insert, definitely unique in it's own right. Enjoy! Would love to see addition photos of your other Tudors! Best, Thomas
Very nice. The snowflake is the one to have in my opinion. For reason, the Mercedes hands just don't do it. I guess lots of people agree considering the prices of the snowflake. Well done.
Not this time. The owner and I, we go to the same place of worship. He saw me wearing my snow flake one Sunday and approached me to have a closer look. He then told me that he has the exact watch and the next Sunday he wore it. When I saw the brown ghost bezel, I just can't help asking him if he wants to sell or maybe trade it for a watch of his choice. That's how it all started and every Sunday when I see him, I would pop the same question and he would always say "in due time".
Do u mind showing high resolution pictures of all the numbers on the insert? [emoji848] I blame it on the autoconnect.
Now, that's what I call an aged dial. Beautiful piece, just like the rest of your collection. Congrats. Cheers Thomas
