i have been searching for a minty Heuer 2446 GMT for a while and finally found one that belonged to a collector friend from Thailand. I always knew that his collection iwas confined only to Rolex and Omega. It so happened that he asked me what I was targetting lately and I told him about the Heuer. He then sent me a picture of a 2446 GMT ttat he has kept for 15 yrears and offered it to me. I jumped the gun immediately because his was almost in NOS condition. It artived yesterday and I am happy to share the beautiful watch here.

This is a 2446C GMT, and a nice example of the 4th and final execution of the type. I'm really into that 1163 though!

All 3 watches are straight fire and top examples.

You have a good eye and I have yet to see a zodiac “autavia” gmt with a v72 movement available for sale in a very long time. A “rare bird” as they say, that’s for sure. I know this because I have yet to see one in person, i obviously want one , and cant satisfy that desire (you want what you can have), because to my knowledge, there are no quality examples available for sale at the moment and not in a while either.

I’m not sure if Heuer ever produced the 1163 gmt for zodiac with a Cal.11 or Cal.14, but if they did I’d be all over them as well.

Thanks for sharing your badass collection of GMT chronos, because it was fun and truly a pleasure viewing it.

I am not sure if they also have a Zodiac gmt in a 1163 case but it’s a possibility.

I don't think they did. BTW the Cal. 14 is the Cal.11 with GMT complication - any 1163 or 11630 GMT will have the 14, not the 11.

I got the Zodiac several years ago so it was quite reasonable but I paid top dollar for the 1163 and 2446. Well worth it anyway.

I wish they originally housed the cal.14 in the 2446c case.
