I recently picked up the Hodinkee Speedmaster and I’m wondering if anyone has come across a caseback sticker that works well for the Bas-relief-style casebacks on First Omega in Space variants?

I’m not so concerned with wear and tear but rather keeping the thing clean... I find these kinds of casebacks start getting gross after a year or two

Don't let the filth build up, use alcohol, Q-tips and wet tissues every couple of weeks. Problem solved.

 

Good suggestion! I guess if I keep on top of it, it should be fine. There’s just so, so many crevices on that caseback

 

What is that suede strap? Is that a hodinkee strap? And can you use a 20mm strap! As 19mm is a weird size

 

I brought a watch condom on Ebay that gives total protection.

 

Use an old toothbrush.

 

The strap is from B&R Bands. Most half decent strap makers sell a 19mm option. I recommend Two Stitch Straps as a great strap maker at very reasonable prices.

As an alternative to Hodinkee, Bulang & Sons is great.

 

I use alcohol + qtip to clean the caseback.
