I do kind of like nice medallions in contrasting colours on casebacks, and this got me thinking. I'm aware that Omega only seem to use these in a kind of limited way on mainstream models such as the Connie observatory Seamaster hippocampus and my current favourite - the Titane Polaris Leaving aside limited editions such as Snoopy Speedies, and Olympic issues, did Omega use contrasting caseback medallions with any regularity on other models? I've never seen the golden hippocampus on a Seamaster before, which model is that? Looks great In regards to caseback medallions, Longines is (was) the leader of the pack here, IMO.
I really love the caseback medallions, they are for the wearer, a little bit extra that nobody else sees but you.
